The Central Utah region is a goldmine of Utah heritage and outdoor
recreation, including the Highway 89 loop (dubbed the Heritage
Highway), and the popular Paiute ATV Trail. It is also home to
Elk Meadows Ski & Summer Resort, and a variety of state parks and
public lands for family recreation. It also offers the most accessible routes between Salt Lake City
and Las Vegas via I-15 or Highway 89. The Utah Heritage Highway runs parallel to Interstate 15 from
Fairview to Kanab along U.S. Highway 89. The antique shops, inns,
historic sites, traditional celebrations, local foods and heritage
tours along the route are sure to excite the traveler interested
in local history and culture. Winter Adventure Sports
